Respondents Prayer: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to release the petitioner's retirement benefits forthwith by considering the petitioner's representation dated 27.01.2022 and pass such further or other orders.

ORDER
The relief sought for in the writ petition is to directing the respondents to release the petitioner's retirement benefits forthwith by considering the petitioner's representation dated 27.01.2022
2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners joined the services in the respondentCorporation in the year 1994 and retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation on 29.02.2020. The petitioner has made several representations to the respondents through post and in person and finally on 27.01.2022, requesting to disburse the terminal benefits. Since there was no development on the representaitons made by the petitioner, the present writ petition is filed seeking directions to the respondents.
3. Mr.K. Moorthy, learned standing counsel takes notice on behalf o the respondents and submitted before this Court that the petitioner's representation will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed by the first respondent within a time as stipulated by this Court.
4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsels on either side and in view of the limited prayer sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion and without going into merits of the case, is inclined to direct the 1st respondent to consider the representation dated 27.01.2022 made by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
