ORDER

This Contempt petition has been filed seeking to punish the respondents for their wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in

WP No.35161 of 2025 dated 26.09.2025.

When the matter was taken up for hearing on 04.06.2026, the learned counsel for the respondents, produced the receipt signed by the petitioner acknowledging receipt of the entire amount and recording full satisfaction. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner sought time to get instructions.

Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had signed the receipt without knowing the contents thereof.

Since the order passed by this Court has been complied with, this Court is not inclined to keep the contempt petition pending. Liberty is granted to the petitioner to challenge the said receipt in the manner known to law. Accordingly, this contempt petition stands closed.
