O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to obtain

and submit proposals as per his letter dated 30.12.2016 to the 2nd respondent with regard to the claim of the petitioner for assignment and grant of patta in respect of Thoppu Poramboke land in S.No.181/3 (0.12.5 hectares) in V.Mathur Village, Vikkiravandi Taluk, Villupuram District and further direct the 1st respondent to pass appropriate orders thereon within a time frame.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that it would be suffice to direct the 4th respondent to consider the representations given by the petitioner dated 23.01.2017 and 06.02.2017, in accordance with law.

3. Mr.R.Rajeswaran learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the 4th respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representations and pass orders, in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties.

4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 4th respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 23.01.2017 and 06.02.2017 and pass orders, in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
