Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to issue Fresh patta through sub division of the property in favour of the petitioner in Alamelumangapuram Layout bearing Plot Nos.148 & 149 in Village No.25, Murugamangalam Village, within the limits of Kattankulathur Panchayat Union, Registration District of South Chennai and Sub Registration District of Tambaram to an extent of 4800 sq. ft. bearing Survey No.47/1 based on the representation of the petitioner to the 1st respondent dated 02.03.2021.

ORDER

Today, when the matter is listed under the caption 'for issuance of patta', the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions submitted that the petitioner's representation, dated 02.03.2021 has been considered and rejected by the 1st respondent and in this regard, he has produced a copy of the rejection order issued by the 1st respondent, dated 25.04.2022.

2. Recording the submissions made by the learned Special Government Pleader, no further adjudication is required in the present Writ Petition. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law. Hence, this writ petition stands closed . No costs.
