O R D E R

This Criminal Revision case has been directed against the order dated 17.8.2015 passed in Crl.M.P.No.2931 of 2015 in Crl.M.P.No.1492 of 2014 in C.C.No.8 of 2002 by the XI Additional Court for CBI cases relating to banks and financial institutions, Chennai.

2. The revision petitioner has been shown as 8th accused in Calendar Case No.8 of 2002. During the course of investigation, his passport has been seized and subsequently, as per the order passed in Crl.M.P.No.1492 of 2014, the same has been returned for getting renewal and thereafter the revision petitioner has filed Crl.M.P.No.2931 of 2015 so as to get extension of time for a period of one year to return passport to the custody of the court, wherein the court below has granted only six months time. Under the said circumstances, present Criminal Revision Case has been filed.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the revision petitioner has contended that atleast one year period is required for getting Visa. Therefore, the period granted by the lower court is not sufficient.

4. Considering the request made on the side of the revision petitioner, this Court is of the view to grant one year time. In fine, this Criminal Revision Case is allowed. The order passed in Crl.M.P.No.2931 of 2015 in Crl.M.P.No.1492 of 2014 in C.C.No.8 of 2002 by the Court below is modified as follows: "Revision petitioner/petitioner is granted one year time till 8.10.2016.
