The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 498(A), 494, 406, 417, 294(b), 506(2) of IPC, in Crime No.1314 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and she has been falsely implicated in this case, as if, she has developed an illegal intimacy with the wife of the first petitioner and was shown as a sixth accused/wife of A1, and her name was not mentioned in the FIR. He further submitted that the co-accused has been released on bail. Hence he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that there are totally six accused in this case and the petitioner herein is arrayed as A6. He further submitted that the petitioner herein had married the first

petitioner when the defacto complainant is alive. He further submitted that the first petitioner had developed an illegal intimacy with the sixth petitioner and hence harass the victim, for which, a complaint was lodged by the defacto complainant against this petitioner. He further submitted that the investigation in this case is not yet completed. Hence, he vehemently opposed to grant bail to the petitioner.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent and perused the entire materials available on record.

5. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) and considering the gravity of the offence and also taking note of the fact that this case needs detailed investigation, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. 10.06.2024 drl
