Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 4th and 5th respondents to dispose of my representation dated 05.03.2021 and issue no objection certificate to effect change of patta and mutation of revenue

ORDER

The petitioners have made atleast two representations one on 15.10.2020 and the other on 05.03.2020, for transfer of patta and mutation of revenue records in their names.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners. Mrs.R.Janaki, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for respondents 3 to 5, and makes a statement on instruction that the enquiry for the purpose is scheduled to take place at 3.00 p.m., on 01.06.2021 in the office of the Tahsildar, Arakkonam Taluk, Vandavasi District / fifth respondent herein. The said statement is recorded.

3. In view of the above, no further direction is required to be given except that the Tahsildar, Arakkonam Taluk, Vandavasi District is directed to hold an enquiry after issuing notices to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision, and after providing the parties a fair and effective hearing and to dispose of the said representation through a speaking order within a period of eight (8) weeks from 01.06.2021.
