Munusamy @ Perumal, aged about 40 years, now detained in Central Prison, Vellore before this Court and set him at liberty.

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to call for the records relating to the detention order passed in C3/D.O No.14/2017 dated 12.02.2017, against the detenu by name, Gopi, S/o. Munusamy @ Perumal, aged 40, residing at No.10, Main Road, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Kottai Colony, Pernambut, Pernambut Taluk, Vellore District and quash the same.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has represented to the effect that the Detention Order in question has already been quashed by virtue of G.O.Rt.No.1796 dated 17.04.2017 and a copy of the same is submitted, wherein it is clearly stated that the Detention Order in question has been quashed.

3. Considering the above said facts and circumstances, the relief sought for in the present petition has become infructuous.

4. In fine, this petition is dismissed as infructuous.
