ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 406 and 420 of IPC, 1860 in Cr.No.24 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police seeks anticipatory bail.

The allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner along with his wife running a business called Altech @ Altek International Placement Private Ltd and they have collected a sum of Rs.30,00,000/- from 23 persons under the pretext of getting employment in Software Industries and subsequently cheated them. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that no money was received by the petitioner and he has been falsely implicated in this case and prays to grant bail to the petitioner.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the allegation against the petitioner as well as his wife is that they were running a a business called Altech @ Altek International Placement Private Ltd and they have collected a sum of Rs.30,00,000/- under the pretext of getting employment in Software Industries and subsequently cheated 23 persons and both of them are Directors of the said Company. He further submitted that no one arrested in this case. Hence, he opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 2/4

5. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the fact that the petitioner is also one of the Directors of the Company and the gravity of the offence committed by the petitioner and huge amount has been collected by them, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
