ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- Petition for bail for the alleged offence under Sections 8 (c), 20(b)(ii)(c), 25 and 29(i) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, in Crime No.916 of 2020 on 28.10.2020.

2. Based on the prior information, a vehicle bearing registration No.TN 18 AS 5236 TATA 1109 ex BS4 was intercepted and checked. There are four occupants including driver and search resulted in recovery of 321.650 kgs of Ganja in 10 packets. All the four occupants were arrested. This petitioner is one among them.

3. On completion of investigation, final report filed and pending before the II Additional Special Court for EC/NDPS Act, Chennai in C.C.No.245 of 2021.

4. The contraband being a commercial quantity and prima facie material available for prosecuting the petitioner herein for illegal possession of Ganja in view of Section 37 of NDPS Act, this Court dismisses the petition on holding that the petitioner is unable to satisfy the stringent condition imposed under Section NDPS for granting bail.
