DATED: 29.06.2022

CORAM:

THE HONOURABLE MS.JUSTICE R.N.MANJULA G.Shanbagavalli ...

Petitioner / Landlady [in both C.R.Ps] versus Pooja Vipul ...

Respondent [in C.R.P.No.1756/2022] Vipul Jain ...

Respondent [in C.R.P.No.1757/2022] COMMON PRAYER: Civil Revision Petitions have been filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, to direct the learned XIII Judge, Small Causes Court, Chennai, to decide the R.L.T.O.P.Nos.153 & 154 of 2020 and dispose of the same, within a time frame fixed by this Court. For Petitioner : Mr.A.Rajendra Kumar [in both C.R.Ps] 1/4

C O M M O N O R D E R These Civil Revision Petitions have been filed seeking for a direction to the learned XIII Judge, Small Causes Court, Chennai, to dispose of R.L.T.O.P.Nos.153 & 154 of 2020, within a fixed time frame. 2.

The revision petitioner is a landlady, who has filed these petitions to expedite the proceedings in R.L.T.O.P.Nos.153 & 154 of 2020 and to dispose it early.

3.

As per the report of the learned trial Judge, it is seen that R.L.T.O.Ps. are pending at the stage of "enquiry", Miscellaneous Petitions were filed for seeking amendment. Unless, the parties to the proceedings cooperate with the Court for early disposal of the main petition, it may not be possible for the Court to dispose the same expeditiously. Before taking up the enquiry in the original petitions, the Rent Court has to dispose the Miscellaneous Petitions which have been filed at belated stage. However, it will be appreciable if the learned trial Judge disposes the R.L.T.O.Ps. also at the earliest.
