ORDER

This Court, vide order dated 11.2.2020 in Crl. O.P.No.2329 of 2020, had granted anticipatory bail to the petitioner on certain conditions. However, due to non-compliance of the said conditions, the anticipatory bail got lapsed. In the above backdrop, the present petition has been filed for anticipatory bail once again. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that earlier this Court granted anticipatory bail to the petitioner on condition that the petitioner deposits a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh only). However, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that since he underwent medical treatment and was hospitalised, he had not communicated the order to the petitioner on time and, thereafter, the petitioner filed another anticipatory bail application for extension of time and this Court, while entertaining the petition, granted interim protection on 20.3.20. In the above circumstances, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for grant of anticipatory bail.

A perusal of the records reveal that though anticipatory bail was granted, but due to certain miscommunication on the part of the learned counsel, which has been fairly conceded by the learned counsel, the conditions imposed could not be complied with, whereinafter, another petition was filed in which interim protection was granted and the present petition has been filed for anticipatory bail.

Considering the overall facts, as projected by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court is inclined to grant the anticipatory bail by extending the time for surrender of the petitioner by a further period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order for complying with the conditions imposed by this Court vide order dated 11.2.2020 in Crl. O.P. No.2329 of 2020. The rest of the conditions imposed in the order dated 11.2.2020 in Crl. O.P.
