O R D E R

Instant writ petition is filed, to quash the order, dated 9/2/2013, of the Collector, Kancheepuram District, first respondent, and consequently, direct the first respondent, to retain the petitioner, in Vengaivasal Village Panchayat, third respondent.

2. Ms.S.Sasikala, learned counsel for the petitioner states that the matter pertains to transfer. She further states that petitioner has retired from service and therefore, nothing survives in this writ petition and hence, seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the writ petition. Endorsement has also been made to that effect.

3. In view of the statement and endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, instant writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
