ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the third respondent to cancel patta No.718 standing in the name of the respondents 5 to 7 and issue separate patta in the name of the petitioner for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition based on the petitioner's representations dated 09.05.2025 and 19.02.2026 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. According to the petitioner, the respondents 5 to 7 have fraudulently and illegally obtained patta No.718 in their name. The petitioner seeks for cancellation of the said patta and for issuance of separate patta in favour of the petitioner. The petitioner had given representations on 09.05.2025 and

19.02.2026 to the official respondent for the said purpose. Since the said representations have not been considered till date, this writ petition has been filed.

3. Mr. C. Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4. Since no adverse orders are passed against the respondents 5 to 7, notice to the respondents 5 to 7 is dispensed with by this Court.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law after hearing the objections of the respondents 5 to 7 as well as any other third party whom the third respondent deems it fit to enquire within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representations dated 09.05.2025 and 19.02.2026.

6. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the third respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representations dated 09.05.2025 and 19.02.2026, seeking for cancellation of patta No.718 standing in the name of the respondents 5 to 7 and for issuance of

separate patta in the name of the petitioner for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after hearing the objections of the respondents 5 to 7 as well as any other third party whom the third respondent deems it fit to enquire.
