ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence under Sections 376, 294(b), 506(1) of I.P.C. and under Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002, in Cr.No.1 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner had love affair with the defacto complainant, however, he refused to marry her.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and that he has been falsely implicated in this case. 4.Heard the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate. 5.Considering the gravity of the offence, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
