ORDER

This petition has been filed to call for the records from the 2nd respondent police, AWPS, W-27, Vadapalani Police Station vide FIR with Cr.No.7 of 2014, quash the same.P.N.PRAKASH,J gms

2. On a complaint lodged by Chitra Ganesan [defacto complainant], the respondent police registered a case in Cr.No.7 of 2014 on 25.08.2015 under Sections 294(b), 506(i) IPC against the petitioners herein. It appears that the petitioners and the defacto complainant have amicably settled their issues and the defacto complainant has also filed an affidavit, wherein it is stated as follows in paragraph 7:

"7. I submit that, presently myself and the petitioner No.1 have entered into a mutual understanding and decided to get separated mutually by filing a petition before the appropriate Forum. Hence I am not interested in proceeding with the above case under Crime No.07/2015 pending on the file of the second respondent and cause multiplicity of litigations."

In view of the above, the FIR in Cr.No.7 of 2015 on the file of the AWPS, W-27, Vadapalani Police Station, Chennai is quashed.
