O R D E R

Though this writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent to restore the service connection in SE No.201008-1729 on the premises of the petitioner at No.2/3, College Cross Road, Avarankaadu, Murugampalayam, Tirupur, it is noticed from the records that the petitioner has been served with a Show Cause Notice dated 29.06.2016 under Section 135(1)(e) of the Electricity Act, 2003 and the petitioner has replied to the same.

2. Meanwhile, during the pendency of this Writ Petition, the service connection had been restored subject to a conditional order 05.07.2016. Thus, the remedy sought by the petitioner in this Writ Petition has already been worked out. However, the said Show Cause Notice has not yet been adjudicated.

Therefore, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to pass appropriate order in the Show Cause Notice dated 29.06.2016 issued under Section 135(1) (e) of the Electricity Act, 2003 to the petitioner, in terms of Regulation No.23(AA)(12) of the Tamil Nadu Electricity Supply Code, 2004, within a period of forty five days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Needless to state that the petitioner shall be heard before such order is passed. No cost. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
