Respondents Writ petition have been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for a Writ of Certiorarified mandamus to call for the records in Na.Ka.No.6209/2009/A4/ Illathur Village Panchayat dated 03.03.2010 passed by the 1st respondent and quash the same as illegal, improper, arbitrary and against the principles of Natural Justice and thereby direct the respondents to grant join signing cheque power to the petitioner to discharge the public duty.

When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that the releif sought for herein has become infructuous and hence, nothing survives for adjudication.
