.. Respondent This application has been filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeking extension of time for the Arbitrator to pronounce the arbitral award by another period of 8 months.

2. The learned counsel for the respondent has not raised any serious objection for allowing this application. However, he would submit that the arbitration is in the argument stage and therefore, 8 months' time sought for by the applicant is on the higher side.

3. This Court, after giving due consideration to the fact that the arbitration is in the argument stage, and that the extension sought in this application is third such application filed before this Court, deems it fit to 1/3

grant extension of time for the Arbitrator to pronounce the arbitral award by another period of 4 months and not 8 months as sought for by the applicant. Accordingly, this application is allowed by granting 4 months' time for the Arbitrator to pronounce the arbitral award from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
