Respondents Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pass orders granting appointment to the petitioners to the post of Cook in Kallakurichi district in the existing vacancy in Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Department, Kallakurichi District, based on selection conducted and concluded in the year 2016, by considering the representation submitted by the petitioners dated 11.10.2021 with all consequential and other attendant benefits, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. The Writ Petition has been filed for directing the respondents to pass orders granting appointment to the petitioners to the post of Cook in Kallakurichi District in the existing vacancy in Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Department, Kallakurichi District, based on selection conducted and concluded in the year 2016, by considering the representations submitted by the petitioners dated 11.10.2021 with all consequential and other attendant 2/5

benefits, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. Considering the limited relief sought for in the petition, without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the respondents are directed to consider the representations dated 11.10.2021 made by the petitioners after issuance of notice to the petitioners and counter parties, if any and after giving opportunity of hearing to them, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
