JUDGMENT

The present Criminal Appeal has been filed to set aside the judgment of conviction and sentence imposed on the appellant/accused in S.C.No.19 of 2009 dated 7.5.2009 by the Additional District Sessions Court (Fast Track Court), Ariyalur.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation for the appellant.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondent submitted that pending the appeal sole appellant died on 29.10.2011. She has filed a copy of the death certificate dated 11.11.2011, Ration Card and the Voters Identity Card to that effect and the same are recorded.

4. In view of the above, the Criminal Appeal is dismissed as abated.
