ORDER

Alleging that the order of this court dated 08.04.2014 made in W.P.No.3238 of 2014 directing the respondent to pay the subsistence allowance for the period of suspension has not been complied with by the respondent, the petitioner has come forward with this contempt petition.

2. On service of statutory contempt notice, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ respondent is present before this court. The respondent

has produced the order passed by her in Se.Mu.Na.Ka.No.R.V.2/783/2012 dated 20.02.2015 by which a sum of Rs.1,02,833/- has been paid towards subsistence allowance. Thus, according to the respondent, the order in the writ petition has been complied with. Apart from that, the respondent has tendered her unconditional apology for having not complied with the order for all these days. According to her, the reason for the delay is due to the fact that she had to get administrative sanction from the corporate office. The said explanation offered by the respondent is accepted.

3. In view of the above, no more adjudication is required in this matter and the contempt petition is accordingly closed.

The respondent/contemnor is discharged.
