The learned counsel, appearing on behalf of the first respondent, now brought to the notice of this Court that at the time of filing of the writ petition, the first respondent was not holding a valid license for the purpose of running the Cable TV in that particular locality. However, during the pendency of the writ petition, the license was granted in favour of the first respondent by the Competent Authorities and therefore, the cause aroused for filing of the present writ petition became vanished.

2. It is needless to state that the persons, including the writ petitioner or the first respondent shall be permitted to operate the Cable TV only in accordance with the terms and conditions stipulated in the license and in the event of any violations, the Competent Authorities are bound to initiate action in accordance with law.

3. With the above observations, the writ petition stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
