Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st Respondent to dispose of the complaint dated 20.01.2022 having Ref.No.N202122006026857 filed by the Petitioner under the Ombudsman Scheme for Non Banking Financial Companies, 2018 notified by the Reserve Bank of India under Notification dated 23.02.2018 having Ref.No.CEPD.PRS.No.3590/13.01.004/2017-18 against the 2nd Respondent in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

The petitioner states that he has filed a complaint before the Ombudsman of the Reserve Bank of India on 20.01.2022 levelling certain complaints as against the second respondent i.e. the Shriram City Union Finance Limited.

2.The Scheme governing the conduct of proceedings by the Ombudsman of the Reserve Bank of India provides for a period of 90 days for disposal of the complaint and hence the time limit under the scheme is still current and live.

3. In these circumstances, I am of the view that this writ petition filed on 30.03.2022 is premature and the petitioner ought to have pursued the matter before the first respondent without rushing to the Court in the meanwhile. 4.This writ petition is dismissed as premature. No costs.
