In turn, the learned counsel for the petitioner has given a letter dated 25.10.2016 to the Registry seeking permission to list the matter under the caption "for withdrawal". Accordingly, the matter is listed today, under the caption "for withdrawal".

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the petitioner has sought permission of this Court to withdraw the Civil Revision Petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect in the grounds of revision.

3. In view of the same, the Civil Revision Petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petitions are also dismissed.
