Heard Mr.M.P.Saravanan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Varun Kumar, learned counsel accepting notice on behalf of the respondent.

2.With the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal, at the admission stage itself.

3.The petitioner seeks for a direction upon the respondent Electricity Board to grant electricity service connection, by considering his representation, dated 28.03.2016. However, such a relief cannot be granted, since free agricultural electricity service connection can be granted, only if a proper application is filed in that regard and if the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner is found to be eligible, he has to wait for his turn, as the connections are being granted, based on seniority. 4.In the light of the same, the writ petition is disposed of, giving liberty to the petitioner, to file a proper application before the respondent, which shall be considered by the respondent, on merits and in accordance with law.
