This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file the final report in Crime No.548 of 2012 pending investigation within a time frame.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the investigation in Cr.No.548 of 2012 was completed and it was closed as early as 24.01.2013 but the closure report has been filed before the Tahsildar, Tiruvallur only on 25.07.2016 and a copy of the closure report has also been served on 27.07.2016. Recording the same, this petition is closed.
