The present revision petition has been filed to set aside the order passed in C.C. No.7430/2006 dated 07.09.2010, by the III Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai and confirmed the order i C.A. No. 172 of 2010 by the learned III Fast Track Court Judge, Chennai dated 04.05.2011.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that pending revision petition, the petitioner had died on 12.03.2015, to that effect, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has also filed a Memo dated 23.04.2018 along with Death Certificate of the revision petitioner viz.,S.V.Devendra Rao, the same are recorded. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication in this case. Hence, recording the said submission made by learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent, the revision petition stands dismissed as abated. However since, the petitioner died, the punishment awarded to the petitioner by the trial Court and the First Appellate Court are also abated.
