The Transfer Petition is filed to withdraw and transfer OP.No.235 of 2022 on the file of the Sub Court, Udumalapet to the file of the Family Court, Chennai.

2. The petitioner married the respondent on 27.06.2021 as per the Hindu Rites and Customs. Thereafter, due to difference of opinion the parties separated and the respondent had filed OP.No.235 of 2022 on the file of the Sub Court, Udumalapet, seeking divorce. The petitioner would submit that she is currently preparing for TNPSC Group 1 exam. The petitioner would submit that she is under mental distress on account of the marital issues and seek transfer of the above said petition to the file of the Family Court, Chennai.

3. It is reported that the petitioner is currently residing at Poonamallee.

4. Since the petitioner is residing at Poonamallee, the Family Court, Chennai will not have jurisdiction to entertain the HMOP. Therefore, OP.No.235 of 2022 pending on the file of the Sub Court, Udumalpet is withdrawn and transferred to the file of the Sub Court, Alandur.

5. The transfer petition is disposed off on the above lines. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
