CRL. O.P. No.13784 of 2016 S. VAIDYANATHAN, J.

Apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act and in C.C.No.248 of 2016 on the file of the learned VII Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai, the petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking anticipatory bail.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that as the petitioner is a house wife and she is unaware of the proceedings of the learned VII Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai, and Non Bailable Warrant has been issued against the petitioner and hence she has come forward with the present petition for anticipatory bail.

3.Learned Government Advocate [Criminal Side] that the petitioner shall be directed to appear before the trial court and file a petition section 70(2) Cr.P.C.

4. Considering the submissions made on either side, the petitioner is directed to appear before the trial court and to file necessary application and on filing of such application, the same shall be considered by the Magistrate concerned in accordance with law and this petition is disposed of accordingly.
