O R D E R

The revision petitioner herein is the plaintiff in O.S. No.268 of 2018, which he has laid for declaration of tile, recovery of possession and other ancillary reliefs.

In the suit, the plaintiff has taken out an application in I.A. No.811 of 2018, for appointment of a commission. The ground No.6 of the revision informs that, as many as 27 adjournments are granted by the trial court between 09.11.2018 and 22.04.2022. This court is informed that the defendant has not filed any counter.

The suit is pending for close to four years now and it is extremely unfortunate and disappointing to note that the trial court has sat on an application for appointing a commission for local inspection for entire duration of the litigation thus for. This does not appear to be an efficient way of managing.

To a specific query, the learned counsel for the revision petitioner fairly submitted that, as far his knowledge goes, in the last four years, there has always been a Presiding officer available in the court. 5.

In such view of the matter, the learned District and Sessions Judge, Chengalpet, is directed to dispose of I.A. No.811 of 2018, within a period of one month and dispose of the suit in O.S. No.268 of 2018, within a period of six months, preferably not later by December, 2022. 6.

With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
