[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] It is the case of the petitioner that her married daughter viz. Renuga Devi went missing along with her child Darshan from 22.02.2021 and that police are not taking effective steps to secure them.

2. On instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that, on a complaint given by Sudhakar/R3 (husband of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Renuga Devi), a case in Vennandhur P.S.Crime No.178 of 2021 for 'woman and boy missing' was registered on 23.02.2021; during the course of investigation, it came to light that Renuga Devi has eloped with one Nijandhan.

3. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed with a direction to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Rasipuram Sub-Division to monitor the investigation in Vennandhur P.S.Crime No.178 of 2021 and keep the petitioner informed of the developments, if any. As and when the detenus viz. Renuga Devi and Darshan are secured, they shall be produced before the Judicial Magistrate, Rasipuram, under intimation to the petitioner. On such production, the learned Magistrate shall pass appropriate orders with regard to the custody of the detenus.
