ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the 2 nd respondent to take action on the communication made by the 3 rd respondent dated 14.09.2023 and to carry out the necessary correction in the revenue records.

2.Heard Mr.V.V.Sairam, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of respondents 1 to 4.

3.The grievance of the petitioner is that during the UDR Scheme, the subject property was wrongly classified as 'Pudhu Kuttai'. Hence, the petitioner wanted the corrections to be carried out and he made a representation before the

The 3 rd respondent through communication dated 14.09.2023 addressed to the 2 nd respondent submitted a report and the grievance of the petitioner is that the same was not acted upon by the 2 nd respondent. It is under these circumstances, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. 4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the 2 nd respondent to act upon the communication made by the 3 rd respondent dated 14.09.2023 and pass appropriate orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order..
