Prayer: This writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of mandamus to direct the respondent to conduct enquiry based on the petitioner representation dated 19.08.2016 given in the grievance day before the Lieutenant Governor Secretariat which was forwarded to the respondent herein within stipulated time as fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER

The prayer in the writ petition is restricted only to the extent of considering the representation given before the respondent on 19.08.2016.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner contended that there were some irregularities in the process of selection conducted for recruitment to the post of Fireman and Fireman Driver. With regard to the irregularities, he made a detailed representation to the respondent on 19.08.2016. 3.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent has no serious objection for giving direction to consider the said representation submitted by the writ petitioner.

4. In view of the above, this Court is inclined to direct the respondent to consider the representation on 19.08.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.This writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
