This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 2 and 3 to pass orders based on the representation made by the petitioner on 20.12.2024 wherein the petitioner has sought for joint patta with respect to the subject property.

2. Heard Mr.R.Naresh Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Mr.R.Gokulkrishnan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents produced the written instructions received from the third respondent. On going through the same, it is seen that the third respondent has already sent a communication to the first respondent stating that necessary correction must be made in the revenue records and only thereafter, joint patta can be issued in the name of the petitioner. Learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that some time is required to pass appropriate orders granting joint patta in the name of the petitioner.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and 2/4

taking note of the written instructions given by the third respondent, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to follow up with the first respondent and after obtaining necessary orders, the application/ representation given by the petitioner on 20.12.2024 shall be acted upon. This process shall be completed within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
