Petitioner has approached this Court seeking a direction to the respondents to include the name of the petitioner in the select list by taking into consideration the fact that the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioners has obtained 64 marks in the category of Most Backward Classes (Tamil Medium) and which is higher that the last selected candidates and accordingly appoint the petitioner as Gang man (trainee) from the date when the selected candidates are appointed with all service and monetary benefits.

2. Even though the petitioner has sought for a wider relief, restricts his relief to one of disposal of his representation by the respondents.

3. Considering the limited relief without going into merits a direction is given to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.03.2021 on merits and in accordance with within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
