O R D E R
(The case has been heard through video conference) This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation and to issue patta/assignment for his property.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that he is in possession of agricultural land to an extent of 1.26 acres for
more than 40 years and he belongs to Hindu Adi-dravidar community. Hence, he has made several representations to the 3rd respondent seeking patta, and finally, he has made a representation on 13.03.2021, but so far, his representation was not considered. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner.
3. I have heard and considered the submissions made by learned counsel appearing for petitioner as well as learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents and perused the records carefully.
4. Considering the limited prayer sought in the Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, the respondents are directed to consider the petitioner's representation and to pass suitable orders on merits after giving opportunity to the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected Writ Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
