ORDER
The petitioner has come up with the present writ petition for a mandamus, directing the first respondent to process and dispose of his application for Environmental Clearance submitted by online application proposal
No.SIA/PY/NCP/52677/2016 dated 8.4.2016 within a time frame fixed by this Court.
2. Today, when the matter was taken for consideration, learned Government Pleader (Pondicherry) appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner has to approach the National Green Tribunal seeking such remedy.
3. In view of the said submission made by the learned Government Pleader (Pondicherry), learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to approach the National Green Tribunal. He has also made an endorsement to that effect in the WP.
4. Hence, the present writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn, with liberty to the petitioner to approach the National Green Tribunal seeking such remedy. No costs.
