This revision challenges the order passed by the Family Court, Erode dated 08.09.2015 in M.C.No.110 of 2014.
2. Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned counsel for respondent.
3. The petitioner and respondent were husband and wife. Subsequent to an order of divorce dated 20.12.2013, the petitioner moved maintenance case in M.C.No.110 of 2014 before the Family Court, Erode informing that she was under the care of her parents, that she had no individual source of income and hence was in need of maintenance.
4. The Court below, on appreciation of evidence tendered before it and particularly the incontrovertible position that the petitioner was earning Rs.31,447.04, was pleased to direct maintenance payable in a sum of Rs.6,000/- per month. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that subsequent to the order of divorce, petitioner has remarried and he has to take care of his family.
6. This Court is of the considered view that such by itself cannot be a ground for interference. We find ourselves in agreement with the reasoning given by the Court below. While money value keeps depreciating, salaries keep increasing. This Criminal Revision Petition is dismissed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
