ORDER

It is brought to the notice of this Court on behalf of the 1st Respondent that the Member Secretary of the 1st Respondent/Board in Rc.No.7271/A3/2012 dated 06.01.2015 (signed on 07.01.2015) had referred to the letter of the Director of Employment Exchange dated 05.05.2014 wherein it

was stated as under:

"No other candidates except Thiru A.Munirathinam, the petitioner has done M.Sc., (Botany) and B.Ed., in Telugu Medium".

The petitioner was called for certificate verification in pursuant to direction of Hon'ble High Court, dated 25.02.2014 in W.P.No.25615 of 2012.

On perusal of the certificates it is found that the petitioner had studied M.Sc., (Botany) only in English Medium with Telugu under Part I (language).

Further the petitioner also did his B.Ed., only in English Medium.

Since the petitioner has not possessed the requisite qualification M.Sc., (Botany) and B.Ed., in Telugu Medium as registered in the Employment Exchange his candidature for the post of Post Graduate Assistant (Botany) Telugu Medium was rejected by the Board."

and this was informed to the Petitioner.

2.In view of the fact that the 1st Respondent had informed the Petitioner about his candidature being rejected by the Board, through the aforesaid Proceedings dated 06.01.2015, as stated supra, this Court opines that nothing survives for adjudication in this Contempt Petition and accordingly, closes the Contempt Petition.
