When the matter was taken up for hearing on the last occasion i.e., on 8.12.2015, there was no representation on behalf of the respondents. Therefore, the matter is directed to be posted today for orders. Unfortunately, even today there is no representation on behalf of the respondents. Therefore, this Court is inclined to pass orders based upon the relevant records.

2. After completion of plus 2 Course, the petitioner's daughter - J.Nivedha has joined B.Sc Nursing Course with Sri Paspo College of Nursing, A.Jettihalli Post, Dharmapuri. The said College is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R.University. For the purpose of obtaining loan to continue studies, an application was made by the petitioner's daughter seeking loan. collector Vellore District has also made his recommendation. However, despite the same, as the request made by the petitioner's daughter was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner.

As there is no dispute that the petitioner's daughter is undergoing studies, the writ petition stands disposed of by directing the petitioner's daughter to make the application in the prescribed format. As and when such an application is filed, subject to the rules and regulations, the respondents are directed to sanction the educational loan for a sum of Rs.3,13,000/- so as to enable the petitioner's daughter to continue her studies. Appropriate orders will have to be passed on the application within a period of six weeks after the receipt of the application from the petitioner's daughter. No costs.
