ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondent police to register a case on the complaint of the petitioner dated 07.08.2014, to investigate the case and to file the final report before the appropriate Court, the petitioner has come up with this petition. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police.

3.It is seen that this petitioner is accused in Crime No.247 of 2014. This petitioner has lodged a complaint on 07.08.2014 to the Commissioner of Police, which was forwarded to the Deputy Commissioner of Police for enquiry. In the complaint, the petitioner has alleged that the opposite party had abducted her and taken her to hospital and obtained her signatures. the same has been closed on 09.10.2014. Hence, recording the same this petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out her remedies in the manner known to law.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner has brought to the notice of this Court that a letter dated 29.04.2015, received from the Treasury Officer, Purasaiwalkam, which says that the stamp paper in question in Crime No.247 of 2014 was issued on a particular date. According to the learned counsel, this document will help her to prove her innocence in Crime No.247 of 2014. 5.The respondent Police is directed to take this into consideration on the petitioner producing the original during the course of the investigation in Crime No.247 of 2014. 4.This Criminal Original Petition is closed with the above observation.
