Respondent in both Crl.R.Cs./Complainant Prayer in both Crl.R.Cs.: Criminal Revision Cases filed under Section 397 r/w. 401 of Cr.P.C., against the judgment dated 31.03.2011 passed by the learned Additional District Sessions Judge, FTC No.I, Chidambaram, by dismissing the C.A.Nos.100 and 101 of 2010 respectively and confirming the judgment dated 30.07.2010 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Chidambaram, in S.T.C.Nos.2158 and 2157 of 2009 respectively convicting and sentencing the petitioner under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, to undergo 6 months simple imprisonment and to pay an amount of Rs.1,000/- in default 1 month simple imprisonment.

For Petitioner : Mr.P.Palaninathan For Respondent : Mr.T.Ayyasamy COMMON JUDGMENT Both the criminal revision cases are filed against the judgment dated 31.03.2011 passed by the learned Additional District Sessions Judge, Fast Track Court No.I, Chidambaram, by dismissing the C.A.Nos.100 and 101 of 2010 respectively and confirming the judgment dated 30.07.2010 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Chidambaram, in S.T.C.Nos.2158 and 2157 of 2009 respectively.

2. The above two Criminal Revision Cases were referred for mediation to the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre, High Court, Madras.

3. A communication dated 06.07.2017 of the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre, High Court, Madras, enclosing a copy of its report dated 19.06.2017 has been received, wherein, it is stated as follows:- https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

"Both the parties appeared before the Centre along with their counsel. Matter has been settled between them as per the terms cited in the Joint memo of compromise which is enclosed herewith. Hence, the matter is sent back to the Hon'ble Court."

4. Due to the best efforts taken by the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre, the matter has been settled and joint memo of compromise has been filed before the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre, on 12.06.2017 and the same was sent along with mediation report dated 19.06.2017.

5. In terms of the settlement arrived at between the parties which is recorded under the Joint Memo of Compromise dated 12.06.2017 by the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre, High Court, Madras, both these Criminal Revision Cases are disposed of recording the terms of the joint memo of compromise. The terms of the joint memo of compromise and the report of the Mediation Centre dated 19.06.2017 shall form part of the order.
