Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to refund the excess college fee of Rs.6,483/- with interest of 12% per annum to the petitioner within time frame fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

The petitioner, who appears in person seeks a mandamus directing the respondents being the Registrar and Director of the School of Excellence in Law, Tamil Nadu Dr.Ambedkar Law University to refund excess college fee with interest within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2.The mandamus as sought for become unnecessary in view of the assurance of Mr.Nallathambi, learned counsel who accepts notice for the respondents, to the effect that the excess https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

amount, of an amount of Rs.6,483/-, will be remitted to the petitioner expeditiously, and in any event, within a period of two (2) weeks from today. The petitioner, fairly, being a product of the college, does not insist upon the payment of interest. This is recorded.
