The petitioner has filed this petition, to to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to grant sanction U/s.197 of Cr.P.C against the fifth respondent vide Crl.M.P.S.R.No.1217 of 2017 on the file of learned Judicial Magistrate, Paramathy, Namakkal District.

2. When the Matter was listed for hearing on 06.07.2021, there was no representation on behalf of the writ petitioner and hence the matter was posted on 08.07.2021. When the matter was taken for hearing on 08.07.2021, once again there was no representation for the petitioner. In order to give one more opportunity to the petitioner, the matter was again directed to be listed on 13.07.2021 under the caption ''For Dismissal''. Today, the case is listed for hearing under the caption "for dismissal" but so also none represented on behalf of the petitioner.

3. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed for non prosecution.
