The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to increase his pay on par with his junior by considering his https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

representation dated 23.08.2017.

2. Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notices for the respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.V.Vijayashankar, learned standing counsel, takes notice for the fourth respondent. With the consent of either side, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. Considering the limited prayer of the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the respondents to pass appropriate orders on the pending representation dated 23.08.2017 of the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With this direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No Costs.
