Respondents PRAYER : The Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. to call for the records of the impugned F.I.R lodged as against the petitioner herein in Crime No.4 of 2022, on the file of the 1st respondent police for the alleged offences under Section 498(A), 494 I.P.C and quash the same.

ORDER

To quash the case in Crime No.4 of 2022, on the file of the 1st respondent police, the present criminal original petition has been filed. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that in this case, this Court has granted interim stay of all further proceedings in Crime No.4 of 2022 on 31.03.2023. However, the first respondent has completed the investigation and filed the final report. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent submits that the interim stay has not been extended further. In any event, now having completed the investigation, the final report filed and the same was taken cognizance by the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Uthangarai, in C.C.No.137 of 2023.

In view of the above, nothing survives in this petition. Accordingly, the criminal original petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the final report, if so advised. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
