O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent bank to defreeze the Current Account No.336841 which was freezed by the 1st respondent Police in Crime No.45 of 2002 on the file of the respondent police. 2.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that as against the petitioner a complaint was lodged by the defacto complainant. The first respondent registered the case in Crime No.45 of 2002 for the offences under Sections 3, 4 and 6 of Prize Chits and Money Circulation (Banning) act read with Section 420 r/w 511 of IPC.

While pending FIR, the petitioner approached this Court to quash the FIR in Crl.O.P.No.8131 of 2019. This Court by an order dated 27.03.2019, quashed the FIR. Hence, as of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

now, the FIR itself is quashed and no FIR is pending against the petitioner. While pending the FIR, the account of the petitioner has been freezed by the first respondent for investigation.

Now, the FIR itself is quashed and no investigation is pending. Considering the above facts and circumstances, the first respondent is directed to defreeze the petitioner's Current Account No.336841 maintained with the second respondent fortwith.

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
