Mr.C.K.Syed Shaffi, learned counsel takes notice on behalf of the first respondent. Mr.P.Raja, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondents 2 and 3. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner is a retired B.T.Assistant. Subsequent to G.O.Ms.No.234, Finance (Pay Cell) Department, dated 01.06.2009; G.O.Ms.No.23, Finance (Pay Cell) Department, dated 12.01.2011 and G.O.Ms.No.237, Finance (Pay Cell) Department, dated 22.07.2013, revision of pay scales were made and the employees were given revised scale of pay with notional benefits from 01.01.2006 and monetary benefits from 01.01.2011. Accordingly, the petitioner is entitled to upward revision. He made a representation dated 16.10.2020 to the first respondent through the third respondent for refixation of scale of pay. Even though the third respondent has received the same, he has not forwarded the same to the first respondent. Hence, the petitioner seeks a direction to the third respondent to forward the representation of the petitioner dated 16.10.2020 along with proposals to the first respondent for his consideration.
3. Heard the submissions made on either side and perused the materials available on record.
4. Considering the limited prayer, a direction is given to the third respondent to forward the representation of the petitioner dated 16.10.2020, to the first respondent, if it is otherwise in order, for the consideration of the first respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the same, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law and pass orders within four weeks thereafter.
5. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
