Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to pass an order on the appeal petition of the petitioner dated 15.05.2024 based on his representation dated 27.01.2025 within a reasonable time fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction against the 1st respondent to pass orders on the appeal petition of the petitioner dated 15.05.2024.

2.The petitioner was working as driver under the respondents on and from 07.01.1998. He caused an accident on 23.09.2021, owing to which the pedestrian had died. A domestic enquiry was conducted and final order were passed on 27.12.2023 postponing the increment for two years with cumulative effect and treating the suspension period as leave at the credit of the petitioner. The petitioner had filed an appeal on 15.05.2024. 3.The 1st respondent may examine the appeal petition and take a decision about disposing it of in accordance with law, rules and guidelines. Necessary orders may be passed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
